By downloading or using Noter ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Noter is a macOS application that records meeting audio locally, generates transcripts, and provides AI-powered summaries. The service is currently in beta and may change without notice.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring you have consent from all meeting participants before recording, as required by applicable laws.
• You must not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your meeting content and notes. We retain ownership of the Noter application, brand, and technology. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.

Beta Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" during the beta period. We make no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy of transcriptions, or data retention. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
